You can purchase solar panels virtually in these installations. The clean energy generated is fed into the state grid, and the equivalent solar billing credits are sent directly to offset your household utility electricity bills.
The electricity credits generated by your panels are transferred to your state utility consumer number (e.g., BESCOM, TNEB, TSSPDCL) via net-billing regulations. Every month, your electricity bill is updated with 'Solar Credits' from Cloud Solar, reducing the total amount you owe.
Yes, 100%! Since your solar panels are virtual and the billing is digital, you do not need to uninstall any physical hardware. If you move anywhere within the same state utility grid, simply update your Consumer Account ID in your Cloud Solar dashboard, and your billing offsets will start transferring to your new home.
Our co-hosting agreements and panel lifetimes span 25 years. You receive billing offsets for the entire 25-year lifespan of the physical panels. We provide full performance guarantees and insurance coverage throughout.
We handle 100% of the maintenance. We wash the panels, monitor generation, and handle any grid connection repairs with professional EPC partners. Operation and maintenance costs are deducted directly from the gross generation, so you never pay any out-of-pocket maintenance fees.
